General information and mandatory disclosures

Data protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data is data with which you can be personally identified. The present

privacy policy explains which data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Notice regarding the controller / responsible entity

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).

Storage duration

Unless a more specific storage period has been stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies. If you submit a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted, unless we have other legally permissible reasons for retaining your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion will take place after those reasons no longer apply.

If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO or Art. 9(2)(a) DSGVO, where special categories of data pursuant to Art. 9(1) DSGVO are processed. In the case of explicit consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, data processing also takes place on the basis of Art. 49(1)(a) DSGVO. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or to access to information on your terminal device (e.g. via device fingerprinting), data processing additionally takes place on the basis of § 25(1) TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time. Where your data is required to fulfill a contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) DSGVO. Furthermore, we process your data where this is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation on the basis of Art. 6(1)(c) DSGVO. Data processing may also be carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO. Information about the relevant legal bases in each individual case is provided in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.

Recipients of personal data

As part of our business activities, we work with various external parties. In some cases, this requires the transfer of personal data to those external parties. We only share personal data with external parties where this is required for the performance of a contract, where we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. disclosure of data to tax authorities), where we have a legitimate interest in the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO, or where another legal basis permits the transfer of data. When using processors, we only transfer personal data of our customers on the basis of a valid data processing agreement. In the event of joint processing, a joint processing agreement is concluded.

Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You may revoke any consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of data processing carried out before the revocation remains unaffected.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 DSGVO)

Where data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) DSGVO, you have the right at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object to the processing of your personal data; this also applies to profiling based on those provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing relies can be found in this privacy policy. If you lodge an objection, we will no longer process your personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) DSGVO).

Where your personal data is processed for the purposes of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for such marketing purposes; this also applies to profiling to the extent it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection pursuant to Art. 21(2) DSGVO).

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of infringements of the GDPR (DSGVO), data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent that it is technically feasible.

Right of access, rectification and deletion

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing, and, where applicable, the right to rectify or delete this data. For this and any other questions on the subject of personal data, you may contact us at any time.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You may contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restrict processing exists in the following cases:

SSL / TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock icon in your browser bar.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Data collection on this website

Cookies

Our websites use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small data packages that do not cause any harm to your terminal device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies) on your terminal device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Persistent cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

Cookies may originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services provided by third-party companies within websites (e.g. cookies for the processing of payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to analyze user behavior or for advertising purposes.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communications process, to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Where consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of that consent (Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO and § 25(1) TDDDG); consent may be revoked at any time.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

You can find out which cookies and services are used on this website in this privacy policy.

This website does not use any non-essential cookies and no tracking that would require consent. The analytics service in use (Vercel Web Analytics) works cookielessly and without any persistent identifier.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

Browser type and browser version; operating system used; referrer URL; hostname of the accessing computer; time of the server request; IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website — for this purpose, server log files must be recorded.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) DSGVO, insofar as your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO) where this has been requested; consent may be revoked at any time.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your inquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular statutory retention periods — remain unaffected.

Inquiry by email, telephone or fax

If you contact us, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request.

The data you send to us via contact inquiries will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular statutory retention periods — remain unaffected.

Newsletter

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected or collected only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered into the newsletter subscription form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO). You may revoke the consent you have given to the storage of data, the email address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you have provided to us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe or after the purpose for which it was stored no longer applies. We reserve the right to delete or block email addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO.

Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected.

After your removal from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blocklist, if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blocklist is only used for this purpose and is not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO). Storage in the blocklist is not limited in time.

You may object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

Google Fonts (local hosting)

This website uses fonts from the Noto Sans SC and Poppins families, which originally come from Google Fonts. However, the font files are downloaded at build time and then served exclusively locally from this website's server (Vercel). When you visit the website, no connection to Google's servers is therefore made at any point; no data (in particular no IP address) is transmitted to Google. Consent pursuant to § 25(1) TDDDG or Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO is not required for this local provision. The legal basis for the use of the fonts is our legitimate interest in a consistent presentation of content (Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO).

Further information about Google Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de
