Raimund Paetzmann
Managing DirectorRaimund Paetzmann has 25+ years of experience in logistics infrastructure and corporate real estate strategy across Europe. He built and scaled e-commerce fulfilment networks for Amazon and Zalando — two of Europe's largest logistics operators — from the early days of European online retail, before modern warehouse automation was industry standard. He serves as Deputy Committee Chair for Logistics Real Estate at ZIA German Property Federation and is a member of the ZIA Innovation Think Tank.
Raimund led the development of more than 35 logistics centres and numerous Built-to-Suit projects across Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and the UK — covering greenfield site selection, developer negotiations, and full construction oversight. He was recognised as Overall Professional of the Year at the EuropaProperty CEE Investment & GB Awards in 2014. His expertise covers real estate strategy, fulfilment network design, and the integration of sustainable practices in large-scale warehouse development.
Carl-Friedrich zu Knyphausen
Managing DirectorCarl-Friedrich zu Knyphausen has 25+ years in logistics operations, network design, and warehouse automation. He led day-to-day warehouse operations at DHL and arvato — managing teams of 500+ FTEs across five sites — before taking on network-level infrastructure roles at Zalando and Delivery Hero. At Zalando, he was responsible for the logistics infrastructure programme during the company's hyper-growth phase, overseeing more than EUR 1 billion in automation and robotics CAPEX across new greenfield warehouses.
Carl-Friedrich's expertise spans the full logistics infrastructure lifecycle: network modelling, site selection, automation procurement, and operational ramp-up. He has managed large-scale outsourcing tenders, built 3PL relationships, and led warehouse automation projects from vendor selection through commissioning. He writes on supply chain strategy, KPI design, and the intersection of finance and logistics operations. At Logivalue he leads complex infrastructure projects for e-commerce operators and advises logistics property investors on the automation readiness of their assets.
